In April 2024, IST engineering team travelled to Hungary to provide on-site installation and training for a world-leading electronics company focused on creating solutions for a smart society. As a global player in the intelligent electronics industry, the customer produces a wide range of high-reliability products, including power control boards used in advanced energy and automation systems.



To enhance production efficiency and quality, the customer chose to work with I.C.T and purchased a full automatic THT (Through-Hole Technology) production line for power control board assembly.



Application Area: Power Control Board Assembly



Power control boards are essential in managing and regulating electrical energy in various devices, from smart grids to industrial automation systems. These boards require reliable soldering, stable insertion, and consistent inspection, making an automatic THT line an ideal solution.

On-site Installation & Training by IST Engineers



Our experienced engineers arrived at the customer`s Hungarian facility in early April. The on-site support covered the following key tasks:

• Level adjustment and full equipment alignment

• Debugging and production testing of all THT equipment

• Programming and process training for the odd-form insertion machine

• Wave soldering operation training and parameter optimisation

• AOI inspection logic setup and software guidance

• Full production run verification with actual power control board PCBs

• Multi-day operator training and technical Q&A support



The entire line was up and running smoothly after several days of testing and training. Operators were confident in using all equipment independently by the end of the visit.
